During this pandemic, in response to the ongoing needs of the Asian Pacific American community, particularly those with limited English proficiency, AABANY has launched a Remote Legal Clinic through the Pro Bono and Community Service Committee to provide information and assistance by remote access. Individuals can now call and request assistance from volunteer attorneys by phone with legal issues such as immigration, housing, employment, family, elder law, anti-Asian violence, and those pertaining to small businesses. Interpreters are available in Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, and Japanese.
To receive assistance through the Clinic, please call and leave a message, stating
- your name
- telephone number
- preferred language
- description of your legal issue
- To leave a message in English or Chinese, please call (929) 251-3022
- To leave a message in Korean or Japanese, please call (516) 690-7724
